The activity of the Capital Group of the European Compensation Centre S.A. (EuCO) involves mainly services of recovering claims for payment due to indemnity or other payments resulting from damage (e.g. pension, compensation). EuCO is the leading company in compensatory business in Poland. It has been operating since 2004.

The Capital Group EuCO consists of:

• The European Compensation Centre S.A. (EuCO) - the dominant subject of the Capital Group ,
• The Legal Advisers’ Office  EuCO Joanna Smereczanska-Smulczyk and Partners The Limited Joint-Stock Company (commandite partnership),
• Evropské Centrum Odškodného (the company operating in the Czech Republic)
• Kartalanitasi Kozpont Kft (the company operating in Hungary

EuCO conducts, on behalf of its customers who are aggrieved in accidents, and their relatives, negotiations with insurance companies with the aim of recovering payment of indemnity or other benefits before legal action. EuCO recovers all the claims connected with an accident, that is, besides claiming due to loss of health as well as, e.g. claims from losing one's income, reimbursement of medical costs and travel expenses. Most of the conducted cases concern transport accidents but EuCO deals with all accidents connected with an indemnity insurance policy in which it is possible to indicate the perpetrator (e.g. accidents at work, in agriculture, illegal seizure of land) and with the liquidation of material damages.

The Legal Advisers' Office EuCO supplements the EuCO offer and provides services of representation of in legal proceedings. Thanks to the operations performed by the Office, EuCO customers have a chance to gain higher sums of indemnities and other benefits, if in pre-court proceedings their amount was not satisfactory. EuCO is the only compensatory company in Poland which has its own legal office.

Evropské Centrum Odškodného (EvCO) leads analogous to EuCO activity on the ground of the Czech Republic. The company has been operating since 2008 and has already gained a leading position on the market.

In September 2010 in Hungary the company Kartalanitasi Kozpont Kft was established. This is another important element of EuCO's expansion in countries of Middle and Eastern Europe. At present the organization of the company is in progress.
